I found one bed bug, should I call an exterminator?

I found one bed bug biting me one morning and I squashed it. This was about 2 weeks ago. A few days ago I woke up with bits all around my ankles and a few on my arm. I found a few bites 3 in a row and some scattered. My boyfriend has some bites too but not as much as I do. Since the initial find I have been checking our bed and around every day. I have not found eggs more bugs. I did find a few feces spots on the box spring. Should I call a professional to check and exterminate my apt?
